Walk on our about 800 m long, labelled forest path and discover there the typical flora of Sainte Marie Island.

The walk leads you under clove trees, passing pineapples, Jaque trees, cinnamon, papaya trees, banana plants, vanilla plantations, Manioc, sugarcane, coffee, pepper, litchi trees, mango trees and so on to a bamboo grove, before you reach the small WATERFALL "Ambodiriano".

From there it goes through the „Avenue de Ravinala" and then steep up the „Stairways to heaven" to the VIEW POINT at 50-m height, from where you can observe the whales between June and September and enjoy all year round the fantastic view up to the east coast of the island and up to the neighbour islands „Ile aux Nattes" and „Madagascar".

The walk on our FOREST PATH with its WATERFALL and its VIEW POINT is

free for our hotel guests!

Visitors are asked to pay a small participation of 1.000 Ar to the maintenance of the path!
